EIB issues digital bond on public blockchain 3 hours ago The European Investment Bank (EIB) has issued a EUR100 million two-year bond using public blockchain technology. Goldman Sachs, Santander and Societe Generale acted as joint lead managers for the transaction, which represents the market’s first multi‑dealer led, primary issuance of digitally native tokens using public blockchain technology.
The EIB issued a series of bond tokens on the Ethereum blockchain where investors purchased and paid for them using traditional fiat.

While pact clears last hurdle, chamber hears warning against backsliding
European lawmakers have finally ratified the post-Brexit trade deal between the European Union and the United Kingdom, five years after Britain voted to end its 47-year membership of the bloc.
Members of the European Parliament, or MEPs, supported the trade and cooperation agreement, or TCA, by 660 votes to five, with 32 abstentions, in a vote held late on Tuesday. However some expressed their mistrust of the British government, reported the Reuters news agency.

Jo Chirawat used Zipmex’s mobile app to put a downpayment in bitcoin on a 2021 Huracán EVO RWD at Renazzo Motor Co. Ltd. in Bangkok, Thailand. The remaining balance will also be paid in bitcoin.
